I'm all for higher resolution, better control over depth of field and being able to shoot in lower light. But audio drives the story and the DSLR manufacturers have to come up with a better audio solution if this is to have an real use in producing video. For example, adding a small directional mic that fits in the hot shoe of the camera. That would make this much, much more than a high res flip camera. The opportunity to shoot video the way I see stills images is very exciting- not necessarily because of this one camera but more about what will all too quickly come next. The interesting issue this brings up is how some photo assignments won't allow video cameras- technically this applies but right now they (PR folks) don't know that. I think this is awesome!
