I just read your question– sorry for the late response.
Editor Elie Gardner and I found the music online, and then wrote to the musicians asking their permission for use in the piece. (intellectual copyrights so very important)

Are only other option, tempting as it seemed, was to compose our out music.

Hey, just a thought. I wonder where they got the music for this, and I’m wondering if newspapers have tapped musical talents of reports due to the new demand for audio.
