Did they do it with soundslides?
bolivar –
i am fairly certain that the nytimes is using a “skinned” soundslide for this audio slideshow. basically they are using soundslides for the tweening of the photos and the audio and then they are creating their own flash template for that soundslide to live in. This way it has its own “nytimes look” as opposed to the standard soundslide. i know that there are a few nytimes producers on this site, and if they would respond to this question that would be great.
hope all is well –
