No question that ThnkTank makes among the best gear out there. And Doug Murdoch is great in helping you figure out that you need for any use.

This is what the Multimedia Journalist needs — a waistpack that holds a microphone.
a holder for a shotgun microphone (handheld) and a holder for a ENG type of mic like the RE50.
Plus maybe a spool or retractable chord for the XLR cable.
How about a holster for the Marantz PMD660? or one for the ZOOM H4? something where there is an opening for the record button — that makes it easy to use.

I’ll pass this on, last time i saw the think tank crew they were asking about these very things and taking down the size of my video camera. I expect great things from them.
